 Artist: Misery Index: mp3 download Genre(s): Metal Metal: Death,Black Misery Index's discography:  Discordia Year: 2006 Tracks: 10  Retaliate Year: 2003 Tracks: 10 A expiry metallic element band from Baltimore, MD, Misery Index was founded in 2001 by vocaliser and bassist Jason Netherton, drummer Kevin Talley (both former members of Dying Fetus), and guitarist Mike Harrison (ex-Pessimist). They proclaimed their arrival that like year with a self-released EP entitled Overthrow and some other dissatisfied Dying Fetus grad, guitar instrumentalist Sparky Voyles, would join the radical in metre for a 2002 rent release with Commit Suicide. Voyles was shortly handling all six-string duties, due to Harrison's going, though, and drummer Talley alike take leave at this time to concentrate on early projects, finally hook up with nu-metal upstarts Chimaira, and later on the Red Chord. He was replaced by Matt Byers (ex-Severed Head) in front Misery Index's next split CD (with Structure of Lies) in 2003, which, in turn, was followed by their first-class honours degree degree U.S. circuit. The exposure from which helped fetch Misery Index to the care of Nuclear Blast Records, for whom they released their rough debut, Avenge, later the like year (and wHO would unceremoniously swing them only a short time afterward, when its flagrant revenue fell short of expectations). Misery Index went subway system for a few age and experienced more force turnover, hardly a modern lineup consisting of Netherton, Voyles, secondment guitar player Mark Kloeppel, and drummer Adam Jarvis was finally picked up by Relapse Records, and recorded a soph piece, entitled Discordia, in 2006. |
